It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Network and Information Security Forum of 2008 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC2008) and the 3rd China Telecom Industry Information Security Forum, which will be held in Beijing, China, in May 2008.
ICC2008 is approved by the State Council of China, jointly organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), Chinese Institute of Communications (CIC), Tsinghua University (THU), and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), under the supports from National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and major telecommunication operators and industries.
China Telecom Industry Information Security Forum, is a major forum with significant influence within the industry, has been successfully convened twice, and around 400 attendees attend the forum.
With the theme of “Trusted Infrastructure, Global Security”, the Network and Information Security Forum of ICC2008 and the 3rd China Telecom Industry Information Security Forum will be a milestone regarding jointly development of China information security industry and telecom industry, and will build a new pattern of security market.
Theme: “Trusted Infrastructure, Global Security”1. Latest developments, legislation, and operational structure of global network and information security;
2. How to build up a trusted infrastructure of China network and information security area;
3. Current issues of international network and information security on telecom base establishment;
4. Issues and innovations of network and information security on security management, measurement, and authentication;
5. Trust issues of network and information security on public service and “Digital Olympics”;
6. Intercommunicated with global network and information security experts and professionals.
Attendees We will invite officers of the Informatization Office of the State Council, Ministry of Information Industry, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Netcom, China Satcom, China Tietong, and Beijing Information Industry Association; professors of Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Beijing University of Communications; telecom operators; national departments of public security, communications, water resources, civil aviation, and electric power; enterprises in the network and information security industry. It would be over 2000 attendees altogether.
